'Something Dirty In His Mind': SC Slams Ranveer Allahbadia's 'Obscene' Comments, But Stays Arrest
The Supreme Court slammed YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia for his "sex with parents" remark at a comedy show. The court said his mind was filled with filth and that his remarks were obscene.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday slammed YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, saying his mind was filled with filth over his 'sex with parents' remark at Samay Raina's 'India's Got Latent' comedy show. "If this is not obscenity, what is it? Why should we quash or club FIRs against you," the SC said. However, the court said no FIR shall be registered against the petitioner on the basis of 'India's Got Latent', which was the cause of the initial FIRs.
The Bench of Justices Surya Kant and N Kotiswar Singh stayed his arrest in the case pertaining to obscenity on the FIRs registered in Maharashtra, Assam and Rajasthan.

"The petitioner [Ranveer] shall be at Liberty to approach local police of Maharashtra and Assam for protection of life and liberty in case of any threat impeding him in joining the probe," the court said. "If any other FIR is registered in Jaipur the arrest shall remain stayed in that FIR as well," the court added.
Ranveer Allahbadia shall deposit his passport with the Thane police and cannot leave the country without permission of the Supreme Court.
"The words you have chosen, parents will feel ashamed. Daughters and sisters will feel ashamed. The entire society will be ashamed. These are the levels of depravity you and your henchmen have gone. The rule of law and system has to be followed. He should be ashamed of what he has done to his parents. We are not in ivory towers and we know how he copied an Australian show's content. There are warnings in such shows," the SC said.
If this is not obscenity, what is it? Why should we quash or club FIRs against you? In the name of freedom of speech, no one has the licence to speak whatever they want against the norms of society... There is something dirty in his mind which has been vomited on the YouTube show," the SC further slammed the YouTuber.
