Fadnavis Reiterates 'Ek Hain To Safe Hain' After Being Elected As BJP's Legislative Leader

Fadnavis is scheduled to meet Eknath Shinde at 2 PM at Varsha Bungalow. Ajit Pawar will also attend the meeting.

After being unanimously elected as the Leader of Maharashtra BJP Legislative Party, Devendra Fadnavis said the state mandate has established that it is a mandate to "Ek hain to safe hain and Modi hai to mumkin hain".

"We are proud that not a single MLA left us after 2019 and all stayed together and we formed govt in 2022. Today also Mahayuti has got historic mandate. Modi ji has become the Prime Minister for three consecutive terms. I started as a ward-level leader and now I have also become Chief Minister for the third term. PM Modi and HM Amit Shah both have given huge support and boost to Maharashtra BJP," Fadnavis said amid slogans of 'Deva bhau tum aage bado' by his supportes.

Fadnavis is scheduled to meet Eknath Shinde at 2 PM at Varsha Bungalow. Ajit Pawar will also attend the meeting. The discussion will revolve around the next steps, the allocation of cabinet portfolios, and finalizing the list of leaders taking the oath.

In the recently held state assembly polls, the Mahayuti alliance won 230 of the 288 assembly seats. The BJP led with 132 seats, while the Shiv Sena got 57 and NCP 41 seats. Fadnavis's supporters also celebrated outside the BJP office in Mumbai.
