JDU chief Nitish Kumar resigned as the Chief Minister of Bihar and handed over his resignation to state governor Rajendra Arlekar at Raj Bhavan. As per the sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated Nitish Kumar over his resignation as Chief Minister of Bihar and on joining the Bharatiya Janata Party.
