Assembly Election Results: Counting of votes underway, know early trends
Counting for the 292 seats has begun. Counting is being done for the postal ballets first following all the Covid protocols. Sanitization and social distancing can delay the trends.
TMC takes lead in the early trends with 11 seats while BJP trails with 6 seats. TMC is leading in Murshidabad, Uttar Dinajpur, and 2 seats in Haldia. BJP is giving aa tough fight to Mamata's Trinamool.
The Congress party on Saturday announced its decision to not participate in election debates happening on Sunday when the results for assembly polls for five states are out.
