11,000 inmates in UP to be released on interim bail

Due to Coronavirus pandemic, 11,000 inmates in Uttar Pradesh will be released on interim jail on 8 weeks so that crowded jails don't become a breeding ground for the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic. The inmates who will be released are facing jail term of seven years or less.
