Historic tax relief for middle class: Smriti Irani

Union Minister Smrirti Irani hailed the Union Budget 2020 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and thanked the Finance Minister for granting major boost to the textile industry. Irani said that Sitharaman met people from the various industries to get an idea of their problems. The Budget was prepared keeping their aspirations in mind, she said.

Sitharaman proposed National Technical Textile Mission with an outlay of Rs 1,480 crore over four years to cut down imports.
