Gap between two doses of Covishield increased to 12 to 16 weeks

The gap  between the two doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca covishield vaccine has been increased to 12–16 weeks. The National Immunization Technical Advisor had recommended increasing the gap between two doses of the  Covishield vaccine to 12–16 weeks, which has been accepted.  This decision has been taken on the basis of the recommendations made by the Covid Working Group.
