Deserted women welcome UP govt's pension scheme

The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has announced to give an annual pension of Rs 6,000 per year to Muslim women who have been given triple talaq by their husbands. This scheme will be approved in the UP Cabinet meeting today. Divorced women of other religions will also get benefits under this scheme. Rs 6,000 will be given annually to the divorced women by the UP government. The deserted women have welcomed this decision. More details about the scheme discussed in this report.
