As much as 27.9 per cent of Gujarat voters said national issues will be the dominant factor in the election. Only 18.3 per cent of voters in Gujarat think the Aam Aadmi Party contesting the poll could impact the election, while 18% said religious polarisation could affect the poll. Meanwhile, 67.4 per cent said that former Congress leader Hardik Patel joining BJP will have no impact on the upcoming election, though 32.6 per cent think otherwise.
