Agnipath Scheme Protest Update: Common people in distress | Ground Report from Patna
The protests against the Agnipath scheme have left the common man in distress. The protestors burnt down trains, buses, compartments and tyres. They wreaked train stations and toll plazas. This has created issues in the lives of people. Citizens have no mode of public transport available to them due to the damage done. Trains are delayed due to the closing of railway tracks and stations by protestors.
The Agnipath scheme was launched by the Ministry of Defence to encourage the enrolment of youngsters in the Indian Armed Forces.
