Adhir Ranjan targets PM Modi over Shaheen Bagh protests
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, on Monday, targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ongoing Shaheen Bagh protests. He alleged PM Modi of being sympathetic towards Muslim women during Triple Talaq legislation, but later giving cold shoulder to their problems.
"Modi ji was shedding tears for Muslim sisters at the time of Triple Talaq legislation. He should now go to Shaheen Bagh where those mothers and sisters have been agitating for the last couple of weeks, if he is honest," said Chowdhury.
