Delhi Poll 2025: Exit Polls Predict BJP Victory with a Potential Majority, AAP Faces a Tough Challenge

The results of the Delhi Assembly elections will be announced tomorrow, February 8, 2025, determining who will hold power in the capital. According to the exit polls released so far, the BJP seems to be in a strong position to form the government. Out of 14 exit polls, 11 predict a BJP victory, while 2 show a possible comeback for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and one poll suggests a close contest. The BJP is expected to secure between 45 to 55 seats, with an estimated 48% vote share, while AAP's share may drop to around 42%. According to Today's Chanakya, BJP is projected to win 51 seats, with AAP getting 19 seats, and other parties potentially securing a few. The BJP's efforts in engaging with the middle class, women, and slum dwellers have likely played a significant role in shaping the outcome reflected in these exit polls.
