Video: BMW, Trucks Go 'Flying' In Air While Passing Over Unmarked Speed Breaker In Gurugram
The video shows a speeding white BMW going into the air for over a second and at least three feet above the ground after hitting the speed breaker.
Gurugram News: We have often heard that ideas don't matter as much as their execution does, as even the noblest of thoughts, if not executed well, can lead to failures. That's what happened in Haryana's Gurugram, where an unmarked speed breaker, aimed at reducing the speed of vehicles before the lane got narrower, is sending them 'flying'. A video of a speeding sedan and two heavy-duty dumpers going airborne momentarily while passing over the unmarked speed breaker has gone viral on social media.
The video shared by X user identified as Bunny Punia shows a speeding white BMW going into the air for over a second and at least three feet above the ground after hitting the speed breaker. The sedan landed at a high speed at least 15 feet away from the breaker with sparks flying off the rear bumper of the car after touching the ground again.
Ouch!

This seems to have happened on a newly made unmarked speed breaker on golf course road in Gurugram!
Got it in one of my groups. Damn!
Can anyone from Gurgaon confirm this pic.twitter.com/EZMmvq7W1f
As the video continues, two trucks are seen meeting a similar fate. Trucks approach the point unaware of the unmarked breaker and go flying before hitting the ground a few meters away.
“Ouch! This seems to have happened on a newly made unmarked speed breaker on Golf Course Road in Gurugram! Got it in one of my groups. Damn! Can anyone from Gurgaon confirm this,” Punia asked as he shared the video.
The video soon went viral with several internet users identifying the location as near the Centrum Plaza building on the Golf Course Course, opposite HR26 Dhaba. The Golf Course Road houses several luxurious residential projects including DLF Camellias, Tulip Monsella, Golf Estate at M3M, and DLF Magnolias.
The video also grabbed the attention of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, which responded to the post and said, "Dear Sir, DLF is taking up further necessary action in this matter. Thank you."

A user responded to the post and said, "The Intent behind this is genuine as it is aimed at helping reduce the speed before the lane gets narrower due to U-turn but implementation is poor due to lack of markings."
