Recently, singer Sonu Nigam faced just such a moment when an unidentified man suddenly rushed toward him mid-performance. But Sonu continued singing without missing a single note.

A video capturing the incident has quickly made waves on social media. The clip shows Sonu performing 'Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte’ from 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' when an unexpected figure rushes onto the stage. Sonu deftly sidesteps, allowing his security team to step in and remove the man, even pushing him offstage. Fans flooded social media with praise for Sonu’s professionalism and ability to stay focused. One admirer wrote, “That was absolutely amazing! How did Sonu avoid the guy and keep singing perfectly?? 😮. Legend for a reason!” Another noted, “Pura stage hil gaya..but Sonuji k sur nahi 😂😂 (The whole stage shook, but Sonu’s note didn’t falter).”

However, some users expressed disapproval of the security team’s actions, criticising their use of physical force. One user commented, “Par marna nhi chahiye tha (But they shouldn’t have hit him) 😢.” Another noted, “He could've asked his staff to stop hitting him. He chose to keep singing while the hitting continued! They could have simply removed him from the stage without violence.”
