Wrong Way Wali Kia Seltos Madam Rolls Up Her Sleeves. Cops' Response To Viral Video Has Netizens Divided

Caught on cam: A woman confronts drivers after her Kia Seltos takes the wrong side in Maharashtra. Viral video sparks debate; Mumbai Police responds, netizens react.

Let's face it — Indians and traffic rules have a situationship: always complicated, never committed. From wrong-side riders to horn-happy drivers, it's chaos with a clutch. And right on cue, a recent dashcam video from Maharashtra reminded everyone just how predictably unpredictable Indian roads can be.

Enter: a Kia Seltos, confidently cruising down the wrong side of the road like it's the VIP lane to entitlement. But wait! It gets better. A woman passenger in the car decides to go full reality-show mode. She steps out, rolls up her sleeves (literally), marches over to the car blocking their royal procession, taps on the window, and demands to know: "What's your problem?"

Ma'am, we're glad you asked.

The other driver, backed by the patience of a saint and several blocked commuters, points out that her car is the one causing the jam. The Thane-registered Seltos, now fully aware of the digital spotlight, starts to sheepishly reverse. The driver rolls down the window and gestures to his warrior queen to return to her throne.

Plot twist? The Seltos wasn't alone. The wrong-way gang included bikes and autos, too. Because why let just one vehicle have all the 'fun'?

Mumbai Police Enters The Chat

Even though they weren't tagged, Mumbai Traffic Police jumped in like the surprise guest in a WhatsApp group and asked for the exact location so they could take action. Fair enough.

But the uploader wasn't having it: "You have the defaulter car's number. Just find out the driver's details from your database and issue a challan. Why complicate things?" The car won't be waiting there now, he said.

Back came the cops: "Please send the full address."

Cue online debate.

One side: "Cops need the location or the challan won't hold up legally."

Other side: "They just want a loophole to say it's not their jurisdiction."

And somewhere in the middle, the rest of us are watching, popcorn in hand, thinking: 'Only in India'.
