Haryana Car Getting Into Wrong Lane In Bengaluru Forced To Reverse, Watch Viral Video

Bengaluru, the silicon valley of India is infamous for its traffic woes. Those who have stayed in the city know how painful it is to travel during peak hours. So following traffics rules is even more important. However, a car driver in order to surpass traffic, intentionally veered into the wrong lane but was forced to drive in reverse on a two-way street. The incident was captured on camera and went viral after being shared on the internet.
MahiTwiets shared the video of the incident on the microblogging site Twitter with the caption "Most of the jams are due to people driving like the rest of those waiting are fools!".
In the clip, one can see a queue of vehicles on the opposite side of the road. While a blue car, registered in Haryana, is seen reversing as a school bus approaches from the opposite side. The post amassed 185.4k views and 553 likes at the time this article was being written.

Immediately after the video went viral, Bengaluru Traffic Police took note of the incident. and penalised the car owner for causing traffic congestion.
"Vehicle traced. Needful and necessary action for the violation taken, fine amount paid by the car owner," the Whitefield Traffic Police Station commented on the post.

The video, which was already viral, drew sharp criticism.
"@acpwfieldtrf @halairporttrfps The number plate of this errant driver is clearly visible. Hope you impose fine on the driver for obstructing traffic from opposite lane," commented one user on the post.
While another joked, "Thank god... reverse gear is working fine."
"Great. He should be made to drive like that. Instead of a bus,if a bike or another car was there,i wonder how he would've reacted, commented a third.
"This is the main reason for traffic in bangalore, people not following lane discipline, @blrcitytraffic needs to start imposing huge fine for lane discipline and this will help reduce 50% of traffic jams," wrote a fourth.
