Groom Works On Laptop During His Wedding, Viral Pic Leaves Internet Unhappy
A groom dressed in a traditional attire is seen sitting at the mandap and working on his laptop on the day of his wedding as pandits perform rituals.
After Covid-19 hit the world and several kinds of restrictions were imposed, work from home (WFH) became a norm. While the concept has made life a little easier, it has also caused work-life imbalance. People have become used to logging in at odd hours to finish office work. This was evident in a photo shared online.
In a picture that is going viral, a groom dressed in a traditional attire is seen sitting at the mandap and working on his laptop on the day of his wedding as pandits perform rituals.
Shared on Instagram by a user named 'Calcutta Instagrammers' with the caption " When work from home stretches you to the next level. TAG A FRIEND who might be seen doing this during their wedding,'' one can see two priests and a man sitting in a wedding mandap in the photo. The priests seem to perform some rituals while the groom from Kolkata is busy doing something on his laptop - presumably working.

Echoing a similar feeling another user wrote, "I don’t find this funny. No organisation asks an employee to work on their wedding days, this person needs to get a life and learn work life balance if this is really true and not staged! God bless the woman he’s marrying."
While another user wrote, "This guy may not be working, perhaps switching up his music playlist ? Or, the photograph was taken for effect."
"I can feel this pain," wrote a fourth.
