However, amid the city's lively atmosphere lies a bustling hustle culture, showcased through countless images and videos depicting people working from unconventional spaces. 

An X user recently shared a photograph that purportedly shows a woman attending an office meeting on her laptop while simultaneously shopping for footwear at a store. The image shows the woman holding her laptop while browsing through slippers and sandals put up for display.

Netizens React

The viral picture has stirred up a storm on the internet, leaving netizens divided in their reactions. While some found amusement in the image and took to cracking jokes, others saw it as a "sad state of affairs".

One user wrote, "Taking 'business casual' to a whole new level! Who says you can't be efficient and fashionable at the same time?"
Another observed, "Could have been done on the phone - both - the meeting and the shoe shopping."

A third X user commented, "BUT NOTHING wrong, multi tasking- when i am physiclaly in office, i too do shoe shopping in another window/app thru amazon or flipkart."

A fourth user said, "My only thought is someone should introduce them to this unique invention called Bluetooth headphones." Another post said the woman was "deciding which shoe to throw at organiser of such useless meetings".

One user, however, said "these are the kind of people who made companies rescind Work From Home policies". "Such a sad state. it creates an impression that people in India have no work ethics," the user added. 

Another labelled it the "side effects of work from home".

Yet another user said the woman is either "practising the art of 'putting the best foot forward' or trying out 'putting oneself in someone else's shoes' while being in a corporate setting". For one user, this was a "heel-larious solution for work-life balance". 

Earlier, as part of the trend, a user posted a picture showcasing a man engrossed in work on his laptop while inside a movie theatre. Additionally, a viral video depicted a man participating in a Zoom meeting while navigating a two-wheeler through a congested street.

These incidents sparked a heated debate regarding responsible driving practices and safe commuting habits, drawing attention to the potential dangers of multitasking while on the road.
