Amazon Employee Dies On Stage Of Heart Attack At Friend’s Wedding In Andhra Pradesh — On Cam

He was immediately taken to the City Government Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Medical experts have expressed concern over the rising instances of sudden cardiac arrests among youths.

A man suffered a cardiac arrest during the wedding while greeting the bride and the groom in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The video of the incident captured on the phone has surfaced on social media.

The footage shows the man, identified as Vamsi, handing a gift to the couple on stage. Moments later, he begins to lose his balance. Initially, he tries to reach out for support from nearby guests. Noticing his distress, others rush to assist him and move him off the stage.

According to a report by NDTV, Vamsi, an Amazon employee based in Bengaluru, had travelled to Penumada village to attend his friend's wedding.

He was immediately taken to the Dhone City Government Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Medical experts have expressed concern over the rising instances of sudden cardiac arrests among young individuals, often occurring in unexpected settings such as gyms or social gatherings.

Dr. Ravi Gupta, a Consultant Cardiologist at Wockhardt Hospitals in Mumbai, attributes the trend to factors like diabetes, sedentary lifestyles, air pollution, stress, heavy exercise, and the use of steroids. He also noted that Indians are genetically predisposed to heart disease, and the adoption of Western lifestyles has further elevated the risk.
