  • Samsung's upcoming Exynos 2600 processor might outperform rivals.
  • New chip offers significant gains in GPU and NPU performance.
  • Galaxy S26 series may exclusively use Exynos in certain regions.

Samsung Galaxy S26 leaks keep on pouring in, and honestly, it’s getting tough to keep track. But one thing that’s catching everyone’s eye this time is what’s inside: the processor. A new leak from X user Jukanlosreve, who often talks about semiconductors, hints that Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2600 could completely shake things up in the performance department.

The leak sounds pretty solid, and if it’s true, we might see the S26 series running smoother and faster than ever before.

Exynos 2600 Could Outperform Snapdragon & Apple Chips

According to the leak, Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2600 might bring huge performance jumps, especially in the GPU and NPU departments.

Reports say it could even outperform Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and Apple’s A19 Pro, which is quite a big deal for Samsung’s in-house chip.

Based on early info from Korean media, the Exynos 2600’s NPU could be nearly six times faster than Apple’s A19 Pro, and about 30% ahead of Snapdragon’s 8 Gen 5.

The CPU might also be 14% stronger, while the GPU could be up to 75% faster than Apple’s. In simple words, you might finally get smoother gaming, better multitasking, and stronger AI performance on the next Galaxy.

Galaxy S26 Series May Go Fully Exynos In Some Regions

Another interesting part of the leak is how Samsung might divide its chip usage this year. Some reports say all Galaxy S26 models could feature the Exynos 2600 in certain regions. That’s a big shift because usually, only the base models get it.

Still, Snapdragon isn’t completely out. Phones sold in the US, China, and Japan might still use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while countries like Korea and Europe could get the Exynos 2600 versions.

There are also whispers about lineup changes, the Galaxy S26 Pro might simply be called Galaxy S26, the Edge version seems cancelled, and the Ultra remains safe.

Looks like Samsung’s gearing up for an interesting launch next year, and this time, it’s all about what’s under the hood.
