Launched following Union Cabinet approval on August 9, 2024, PMAY 2.0 builds on the success of the first phase, which saw the completion and handover of over 8.5 lakh homes. The online application portal for PMAY-U 2.0 is now live, offering a streamlined process for eligible individuals to apply for assistance.
