Several reports are indicating that millions of Windows users globally have experienced the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error, leading to unforeseen shutdowns and restarts. This has led to a memefest on social media platforms, particularly X.

What Happened

According to a report by Reuters, Microsoft identified that the outage began affecting a subset of its customers who use various Azure services in the Central US. Azure is a cloud computing platform that supports the building, deploying, and managing of applications and services across the globe.

Additionally, the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error that has caused unexpected shutdowns and restarts is being linked to a recent update from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike.
