IRCTC Website Down: IRCTC has been found to be down during peak Tatkal hours for the third time in December.
IRCTC DOWN: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website experienced yet another outage during the critical Tatkal ticket booking hours, leaving users across the country unable to access the platform. According to Downdetector, a site that monitors online service disruptions, over 1,500 reports of issues were logged around 10:12 am IST. This marks the third instance of IRCTC’s website going offline in December.
IRCTC Outage: What Does Downdetector Show?
Complaints on Downdetector reached their peak at around 10:12 am but showed a downward trend as the day progressed. The platform’s outage map highlighted disruptions across major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and several others.
ABP Live could independently verify that the site was stuck on the loading screen, leaving users unable to book tickets.

The railway ticketing service has yet to provide a detailed explanation for the repeated outages. For those facing issues, IRCTC suggests reaching out to customer care at the numbers 14646, 08044647999, or 08035734999. Alternatively, users can email their concerns to etickets@irctc.co.in.
