Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G And Redmi Note 11 Pro Launching Today: Expected Price, How To Watch Livestream And More

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is set to launch its Redmi Note 11 Pro series in India today (on Wednesday, March 9).

New Delhi: Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is set to launch its Redmi Note 11 Pro series in India today (on Wednesday, March 9). Along with the new Redmi Note 11 Pro line, the brand will also refresh its wearable line with the Redmi Watch 2 Lite that is likely to come with in-built GPS. The Redmi Note 11 Pro line will comprise the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G and they may feature a similar set of specs, including a 120Hz AMOLED screen, 67W fast charging, 108MP rear cameras among others.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ 5G launch is the company's first on-ground and the launch can also be live streamed via Redmi India's official YouTube channel and the company website. To watch the launch event, click on the video embedded below.

 

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G will be unveiled in Phantom White, Mirage Blue and Stealth Black colours while the Redmi Note 11 Pro will be launched in Sky Blue, Phantom White and Stealth Black colours. There will be Xiaomi's liquid cooling feature and stereo speakers onboard as well. The Redmi Note 11 Pro line could feature the EVOL Pro flat design, similar to what we have seen in the newly-launched Mi 11i HyperCharge.

It is being said that with the launch of the Redmi 11 Pro line, Redmi will consolidate its position in the budget category as well as the mid-range smartphones category in the country. Redmi's launch event, slated to be held on March 9, may see the launch of three products: two Redmi Note 11 Pro models alongside the Redmi Watch 2 Lite. The can be streamed online via Redmi's social media channels and YouTube.

Handset maker Xiaomi had earlier confirmed that it would unveil the Redmi Note 11 Pro in India with an AMOLED screen; the Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ may be unveiled in India with the same 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. As expected, the pricier Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is most likely going to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor with an octa-core Kryo 660 CPU that can be clocked up to 2.2GHz. The SD 695 chip also comes with multi-gigabit 5G and 2×2 WiFi for a better and smoother gaming experience.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G India prices may start at Rs 16,999 for the base 6GB RAM/128GB storage model while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G price in India may start at Rs 21,999 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage model.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset that features the MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 Lite with an intelligent resource management engine, networking engine. The Redmi Note 11 Pro line could feature a 5,000mAh battery along with a 67W SonicCharge 3.0 fast charging solution that may be capable of a whole day’s worth of charge in 15 minutes. In terms of imaging, both the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G and Note 11 Pro 4G may feature 108MP primary cameras; while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G could have triple rear cameras led by a 108MP primary sensor, the Redmi Note 11 Pro may have a quad-cam setup led by a 108MP primary lens. In terms of RAM and memory, both the models may feature up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.

Other smartphones that have been launched this week in the country include the much-anticipated Apple iPhone SE 3 and the Samsung Galaxy F23.
