Realme 9 Pro+ And Realme 9 Pro To Launch In India On February 16, Know The Pricing And More
Realme is set to launch its Realme 9 Pro+ and Realme 9 Pro in the country on February 16, the company has confirmed.
New Delhi: Handset maker Realme is set to launch its Realme 9 Pro+ and Realme 9 Pro in the country on February 16, the company has confirmed. The confirmation from Realme comes after weeks of leaks and rumours. Company Vice President Madhav Sheth, during an ask-me-anything (AMA) session, also hinted at the likely pricing of the Realme Pro series and also confirmed the lineup's launch date in India.
According to Sheth's AMA session, called AskMadhav on on YouTube the Realme 9 Pro series would be priced above the Rs 15,000 price segment in India. “As the brand aims to go premium in 2022, we aim to expand the 9 Pro series above the 15,000 segment with all the devices in the Pro series being 5G enabled and built an overall enhanced and more premium mid-range experience,” said Sheth, CEO, Realme India, VP, Realme and President, Realme International Business Group.
Earlier this week, a rumour had suggested that the Realme 9 Pro lineup would be launched in India on February 16. According to previous leaks and rumours, the pricier model among the two, the Realme 9 Pro+ may feature a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Realme 9 Pro+ may be unveiled with 256GB of onboard memory and a 4,500mAh battery. The device may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM.
In terms of camera specs, the Realme 9 Pro+ would get a triple rear camera setup that will be led by a Sony 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP tertiary sensor. For selfies, the device could feature a 16MP selfie camera.
Earlier on Tuesday, Sheth had revealed that the Relme 9 Pro+ would launch with a heart rate sensor. "Keep a track of your health and be aware of it throughout the day. Our upcoming #realme9Pro+ will feature a heart rate sensor," Sheth, CEO, Realme India, VP, Realme and President, Realme International Business Group had tweeted.
