Realme 13 Pro+, Realme 13 Pro Launched In India With 120Hz AMOLED Screen. Prices, Specs, More

Realme on Tuesday introduced two new devices in India: the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+.

Realme on Tuesday introduced two new devices in India: the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+. These latest additions to the Realme 13 series come with impressive display specifications. Both models feature a large 6.7-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The displays are AMOLED with a curved design with very thin bezels for an immersive viewing experience.

One standout feature is the display's brightness capability, which can reach up to 2000 nits at peak levels. This high brightness should ensure excellent visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. Additionally, the screens use an advanced PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) dimming technique, operating at an ultra-high frequency of 2160Hz. This feature aims to reduce eye strain during extended use, especially in low-light environments. The devices will start retailing on Realme's official website, Flipkart and offline stores starting August 6.

Realme 13 Pro And Realme 13 Pro+ Colours

The Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ are available in Monet Gold and Emerald Green colour options, with an additional Monet Purple variant for the 13 Pro model. The Emerald Green version features a vegan leather finish, while the other colours use the glass back panel.

Realme 13 Pro And Realme 13 Pro+ Chipset

The new Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ models are equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. Both devices offer up to 12GB of physical RAM, with the option to expand this by an additional 12GB through virtual RAM technology. To manage heat dissipation, the phones incorporate a sophisticated 9-layer cooling system, featuring a 4500mm² tempered vapor chamber and 9953mm of graphite.

Both models are powered by a 5200mAh battery. The 13 Pro+ supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, capable of reaching 50 per cent charge in 19 minutes and full charge in 49 minutes. The 13 Pro offers 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Realme 13 Pro And Realme 13 Pro+ Specs, Features, Cameras

These devices come preloaded with Android 14 and Realme's custom UI 5.0. Realme is committed to providing two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches for these models, aligning with their support policy for previous Pro series devices.

The 13 Pro+ boasts an advanced camera system, headlined by a 50MP main camera using Sony's LYT-701 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) - a first for the series. It also features a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with Sony's LYT-600 sensor and OIS, capable of 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom. In contrast, the 13 Pro model uses a 50MP LYT-600 sensor with OIS for its main camera but omits the telephoto lens present in its predecessor. Both phones share an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front-facing camera.

Realme has implemented several AI-powered camera features, including AI Ultra Clarity for enhancing image resolution, AI Smart Removal, AI Group Photo Enhance, and AI Audio Zoom. The design of these phones draws inspiration from Monet's artwork, featuring a special glass finish that mimics the play of light in impressionist paintings. This effect is achieved through a technique Realme calls "Miracle Shining Craft," which involves applying countless reflective particles to high-gloss AG glass.
