Poco X7 5G, Poco X7 Pro India Launch Set For January 9: From Camera To Display, What We Know So Far

Poco X7 Pro 5G will likely be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, while the base variant may run on the Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset.

Poco is preparing to introduce its X7 5G smartphone series in India on January 9, offering two models: the Poco X7 5G and Poco X7 Pro 5G. The devices will be sold exclusively through Flipkart, with the company already teasing their design and features on social media platforms.

Poco X7 Series Design (Expected)

The Poco X7 5G series brings notable design differences. The standard Poco X7 5G will feature a centrally placed squircle-shaped rear camera module, while the Pro version sports a pill-shaped camera array positioned on the top-left corner of the back panel.

Both models highlight Poco's signature black-and-yellow design, with the Pro model also expected to come in a unique black-and-green dual-tone option. Additionally, leaks suggest the base variant may also be offered in silver and green shades.

Poco X7 Series Performance (Expected)

Performance-wise, the Poco X7 Pro 5G will likely be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, while the base variant may run on the Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset. The Pro model could boast a robust 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, while the standard X7 5G is expected to house a 5,110mAh battery supporting 45W charging speeds.

Poco X7 Series Display (Expected)

The Poco X7 5G series also promises impressive displays. The base model is rumoured to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The Pro variant could offer a similar-sized 6.67-inch CrystalRez 1.5K AMOLED display, delivering a premium viewing experience.
