Handset maker Oppo is expected to launch its third-generation flagship Android tablet in 2024, which may debut outside its hone turf China as the OnePlus Pad 2. A recent leak, which has surfaced ahead of the official release, as reported by Notebookcheck and first spotted by Mysmartprice, hints at whether the device will feature an upgrade in wired charging capabilities.

Oppo Pad 3 Specs And Features (Expected)
The Oppo OPD2404 has recently received approval for sale in China from the 3C safety regulator. This new listing is speculated to be for the "Pad 3," as it details the charging speed. The leak further suggests that the tablet will come with a new charger, the VCB7OACH, a model number similar to chargers typically provided with Oppo or OnePlus devices for testing purposes, the report added.
Famed leakster Digital Chat Station recently unveiled the key specifications of the upcoming Oppo Pad 3. According to DCS, the Pad 3 will boast a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 900 nits peak brightness, and a 3K resolution. Additionally, the tablet is said to include a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
The device maintains support for the same 67W SuperVOOC charging technology as the Pad 2 (also the OnePlus Pad), aligning with reports suggesting that the next-generation tablet will have a largely unchanged battery capacity. As a result, it is likely that the primary enhancements in the Oppo Pad 3/OnePlus Pad 2 will be focused on its new screen and System on Chip (SoC), potentially matching the specifications of the OnePlus 12 flagship smartphone recently discovered on e-commerce site Amazon.
The upcoming Oppo tablet is rumoured to support LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, alongside the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It is expected to run on Android 14. Additionally, the tablet will reportedly feature a 9,510mAh battery, support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, and include a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.
