OnePlus is perhaps ready to join the likes of Samsung and Oppo and launch a foldable smartphone soon, as per a teaser by the handset maker shown at its Cloud 11 event. The handset maker officially unveiled its flagship OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus 11R 5G, OnePlus Pad, OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro for enthusiasts in India.

OnePlus showed a teaser image during the Cloud 11 event that seemed to be a foldable device and may have a release window in the third quarter (Q3) of this year.

A number of signs indicate that the device could be a purported foldable smartphone; there have been a number of leaks and rumours already of a foldable from OnePlus and the image teased by the company during the global unveiling of the OnePlus 11 was certainly with a foldable display. According to previous leaks and rumours, we've heard names like the OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip, and the latter could be more like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.

The handset maker OnePlus on Tuesday (February 7) unveiled its flagship OnePlus 11 5G smartphone alongside the OnePlus 11R in India. The company also launched the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 with Google's signature spatial audio, the OnePlus Pad, OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro and the OnePlus Featuring 81 Pro keyboard. In India, the OnePlus 11 5G will go on sale on February 14 across OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, OnePlus Experience Stores and Amazon.in. The device will retail at Rs 56,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 61,999 for the 16GB/256GB variant. Pre-orders have started on OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, and Amazon.in.

The OnePlus 11 5G comes with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and promises to deliver increased CPU and GPU speeds (35 per cent and 25 per cent respectively), along with improved power efficiency. The OnePlus 11 5G also comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM memory and OnePlus’s proprietary RAM-Vita technology to allow for as many as 44 applications to be active on the device at the same time.

The OnePlus 11R comes in two colour variations: Galactic Silver and Sonic Black. The Galactic Silver is inspired by the beauty of interstellar light and has a silver hue with a subtle hint of ice-blue while the Sonic Black comes in a noticeably matte finish and takes its name from the speed of sound, supersonic. OnePlus 11R comes has been priced at Rs 39,999 for the 12GB/256GB model while the 16GB/512GB variant will set you back by Rs 44,999. The smartphone will be up for sale via Amazon.in starting February 28. Prospective buyers can pre-order the smartphone starting February 21.
