Nothing Ear (2) TWS Earbuds With ANC Now Official: Price In India, Availability, Specifications

Nothing Ear (2) price in India is set at Rs 9,999.

Nothing Ear (2) true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds were launched by the Carl Pei-owned firm via a virtual launch event. A successor to 2021’s Nothing Ear (1) and 2022’s Nothing Ear Stick, Nothing Ear (2) boast support for Hi-Res audio, LHDC 5.0, and offers up to 36 hours of battery life. While hardware-wise, Nothing Ear (2) aren’t much different to the preceding Ear (1). They even look the same, for starters. It is in the software department where Nothing Ear (2) score brownie points. 

Nothing Ear (2): Price in India, availability

The new TWS earbuds from Nothing are priced at Rs 9,999. They come in a single White colour option, marked by the company’s unique semi-transparent design. In comparison, the Nothing Ear (1) earbuds were launched at Rs 7,299. A Black variant was introduced later on, with a price tag of Rs 8,499. 

Starting March 28 at 12pm IST, Nothing Ear (2) will be available via Flipkart, Myntra, and via offline retail stores. 

Nothing Ear (2): Specifications, features

The new Nothing Ear (2) comes with 11.6mm dynamic drivers — the same as Ear (1) — and a refreshed dual-chamber design for smoother airflow to offer a highly detailed sound. 

Nothing Ear (2) are certified for Hi-Res Audio with support for playback up to 1Mbps and frequencies up to 192kHz/24bit. It also comes with support for LHDC 5.0 codec for high-resolution Bluetooth streaming. 

The new earbuds offer active noise cancellation (ANC) of up to 40dB. The earbuds come with three levels of ANC. The Adaptive Mode helps automatically detect disturbances in surrounding sounds and adjusts volume levels accordingly. They also come with a Low Lag Mode for gaming as well as IP54-rated dust and sweat resistance for workout sessions. 

The earbuds sport three microphones to offer a clear voice-calling experience. 

Nothing Ear (2) also support fast charging, powering up the earbuds for up to eight hours of playback within just 10 minutes. They also support 2.5W wireless charging (Qi certified). If you have a Nothing Phone (1), you can use its reverse charging feature on Ear (2) as well. 

When used with the semi-transparent charging case, Nothing Ear (2) can support music playback for up to 36 hours. The charger comes with a USB Type-C port for charging.

As is the case with most premium earbuds nowadays, Nothing Ear (2) also come with touch-based controls to help users adjust volume or switch ANC modes. The Nothing X app can be installed on smartphones to customise the overall experience as well. 

Nothing Ear (2) supports in-ear detection, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and dual connection to devices.
