Instagram Introduces New Security Features - Know Specialty, Functioning & More

Instagram New Features: Instagram already has the Hidden Words feature, which filters out offensive words, idioms, and emojis into a Hidden folder.

New Delhi: Considering the problems faced by app users, Instagram has announced new features to help people. This feature has been added by the company to limit comments and direct messages. If someone writes objectionable comments, Instagram will strongly warn that user.   

The app has also added new Hidden Words features. Users will now see the 'Limits' feature in their app, which will automatically hide comments and messages from unknown people. This feature is available to every Instagram user. To enable this, go to privacy settings first.

The app has already provided the 'Hidden Words' feature, which filters out offensive words, idioms and emojis and transfers them in a Hidden folder, which you do not want to open. Additionally, it filters up DM requests, which could be a spam.

This feature was earlier available in a few countries, Instagram is going to launch this feature globally by the end of this month. The Fansbook-owned company has "expanded the list of potentially offensive words, hash tags and emojis that automatically filter comments and will continue to update frequently."

Now if someone makes objectionable comments on Instagram, they will be strictly warned by the company. The company claimed that , 1 million average warnings were made daily last week on comments. Instagram said , "Based on these warnings, comments were edited or deleted for about 50% of the time users"
