Apple's YouTube channel was apparently hacked ahead of the much-awaited Glowtime event that is set to kick off on Monday, September 9. According to tech YouTuber @abhishek, an AI-generated video of Apple CEO Tim Cook was streaming on the company's YouTube channel. Cook was seen "asking for Bitcoin" in the video that was posted by the YouTuber on X, formerly Twitter, ahead of the launch event.

The tech giant will launch its latest iPhone 16 series with on-device artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities across all models at the Glowtime event on Monday. The AI-generated video kept streaming until it was taken down.
