Errol Musk, father of tech mogul Elon Musk, has arrived in India for a five-day visit that blends spiritual exploration with strategic business engagements. Touching down on June 1, Musk is set to explore both India’s rich cultural heritage and its rapidly evolving clean tech landscape.

The highlight of his visit includes a pilgrimage to the revered Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Ram Mandir, where he will “seek blessings from Shree Ram Lalla,” as per sources cited by PTI. This symbolic stop reflects what sources describe as his deeper “engagement with India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.”

Beyond his temple visit, Errol Musk’s itinerary is packed with high-profile interactions. On June 2, he is expected to participate in a company event where he will meet a host of policymakers, investors, and senior bureaucrats from various ministries.

Musk was recently inducted into the global advisory board of Servotech Power Systems, an Indian company working in solar energy and EV charging solutions. His presence at this event is being seen as a significant vote of confidence in India's clean tech ecosystem. According to PTI, Musk will offer “strategic guidance to Servotech’s leadership team” as part of his new advisory role.

As part of his engagement with Servotech, Musk is also expected to tour the company’s solar and EV charger manufacturing facility in Safiabad, Haryana. The visit will be attended by state ministers and key bureaucrats, underscoring the importance attached to the occasion.

According to PTI, he will “participate in a tour of Servotech’s manufacturing facilities in India. He will engage with key government and investor groups through curated roundtable sessions.”

In a video shared by PTI, Musk was seen receiving a warm welcome at the airport, signalling the high-profile nature of his trip. He is scheduled to return to South Africa after concluding his India tour on June 6.

Known for his work across technology, infrastructure, and clean energy, Errol Musk’s visit comes at a time when India is aggressively pushing to position itself as a global hub for renewable energy and electric mobility.
