EA Unveils AI System That Creates Entire Video Game Just Based On Your Prompts: WATCH

EA has showcased an AI system that would create entire game content in real-time just based on the users' prompts, without them having to code anything.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is taking the world by storm and tech giants are hopping on the wagon to be the leader of the race. New AI tools are being released every now and then which are making the unthinkable a reality. A decade ago, who would have thought that your computer could give out a whole 2,500 essay to you just on the basis of a one liner prompt. The advancements haven't stopped rather, it has been like crazy. Electronic Arts (EA) has now entered the race to change the game.

EA has recently shown off an AI system that would create entire game content in real time just on the basis of the prompts of users, without them having to code anything. EA is working on an AI-powered "Imagination to Creation" program that was unveiled recently at the company's Investor Day event in New York City.

EA Flaunts Imagination To Creation Concept Video

In the concept video, two off-screen players build a video game reminiscent of Minecraft, featuring a maze made out of cardboard boxes. Using a series of quick commands, the users increase the complexity of the maze and establish rules, such as only allowing characters to die if struck by a grenade.

These modifications appear almost instantly, requiring no technical skills, and the game is ready to be played right away.

While the video demonstrates an intriguing concept, it's yet to be seen how effectively this would translate to real-world gameplay with actual players.

When EA shared the concept video on X, it sparked significant backlash. The criticism largely came from concept artists and game designers, who expressed concerns that a system like this could potentially render their roles obsolete if it ever becomes a reality. It will be interesting to see how things unfold in the future and how EA plans to make this program come to life.

Key Features Of EA's Imagination To Creation Program

Players will have the ability to use voice commands to create game maps, characters, and even set the rules of gameplay.

The platform also enables users to remix elements from existing EA games in real-time, without needing any coding skills.

Additionally, it will allow for quick content creation and collaboration, making it easier for users to work together on their dream projects.
