Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala Welcome PM Modi's Decision Of Repealing Three Contentious Farm Laws
Stalin also congratulated the farmers for achieving this through Gandhian means
Chennai: Hours after PM Modi on Friday in his address to the nation, repealed the three contentious farm laws, the non-BJP ruling states in south India in likes of Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Kerala have come together to welcome the decision and congratulated the farmers for the victory against ruling BJP government.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin congratulated the farmers for achieving this feat through Gandhian means and welcomed PM Modi's decision.
Taking this Twitter, he said: "I wholeheartedly welcome Hon'ble PM Modi's decision to repeal the three anti-farmer laws. History teaches us that people's wishes shall prevail in a democracy. I congratulate all the farmers & bow down to their determination for having achieved this through Gandhian means."

Meanwhile, the Minister of Municipal Administration & Urban Development of Telangana, KT Rama Rao and Nizamabad MLA K Kavitha also welcomed the decision of PM Modi of repealing three contentious farm laws.
In a tweet, Minister KTR said, "The power of people is always greater than the people in power. Proved once again by the Indian farmers who got what they demanded by their relentless agitation. Jai Kisan Jai Jawan."

Meanwhile, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has tweeted saying, "The year-long farmers' protest has finally triumphed.
