With a strong commitment to quality learning, government schools across the state are being transformed to provide top-notch infrastructure and facilities. These schools are not just keeping up with private institutions, they are setting new benchmarks in education.

School of Eminence: A New Era of Learning

In a groundbreaking initiative, 117 government schools in Punjab have been granted the prestigious ‘School of Eminence’ status. With an investment of ₹200 crore, the Maan government is equipping these institutions with state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, and extensive sports facilities. These schools are designed to provide holistic education, including competitive exam coaching and extracurricular development, ensuring that Punjab’s youth are prepared for a bright future.

World-Class Facilities for Every Child

Government schools in Punjab are now equipped with world-class amenities. From well-maintained playgrounds and dedicated spaces for sports like lawn tennis and swimming to smart classrooms and science labs, these institutions are nurturing intellectual and physical development alike. Additionally, free bus services are being provided to thousands of students, ensuring easy and safe access to education.

Empowering Girls through Free Bus Services

Education is reaching every corner of Punjab, thanks to the Mann Government’s free bus service for students. Over 10,448 students, including 7,698 girls, are benefitting from this initiative. Many girls travel more than 20 kilometers daily to attend these upgraded schools, proving that distance is no longer a barrier to quality education.

Stylish, NIFT-Designed Uniforms for Enhanced Confidence

Breaking the stereotype of dull school uniforms, the Maan Government has collaborated with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bengaluru, to design trendy and comfortable uniforms for students. These uniforms, provided free of cost, instill a sense of pride and confidence among students, making them feel at par with their private school counterparts.

A Bright Future Awaits Punjab’s Students

The transformation of Punjab’s government schools is not just about infrastructure it’s about building a generation that is confident, competent, and ready to take on the world. With a vision for inclusive and high-quality education, the Mann Government is ensuring that every child in Punjab gets the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
