Five Dead In Vehicle Pile-Up On Bokaro-Ramgarh National Highway In Jharkhand
Eight people were travelling in the Bolero car of which five people were killed, one individual was said to be in serious condition in Jharkhand's Bokaro.
A collision between three vehicles resulted in the death of 5 people and also injured 3 others. The road accident occurred at the Bokaro-Ramgarh National highway in Jharkhand where a tractor, trailer and Bolero car collided.
The incident that occurred near Dantu village in Bokaro began with a collision between, a tractor and a trailer on the highway. Shortly after, a Bolero car carrying passengers crashed into both vehicles, leading to a rise in the death toll.
In the Bolero car, there were 8 people of which, 5 were said to be brought dead while one of the three injured is said to be in critical condition. The other two, a woman and a girl are said to have sustained minor injuries.
"One of the persons' situation was badly injured and referred to another hospital. Two other people, one child and woman, were okay," Dr Sweety Bhagat Medical Officer, Community Health Center Jaridih, Bokaro told ANI.
