Watch: Jadeja Effects Neesham's Brilliant Run-out With Rocket-like Throw
Neesham seemed to be comfortable in getting to the crease but Jadeja hurled a rocket like throw with only one stump to aim at and rattled the stumps.
New Delhi: Ravindra Jadeja who is very much back in the mix in Indian's white ball cricket unit has not put a wrong foot since making a comeback of sorts into the limited overs squad.
Apart from his all-round contribution with runs down the order and wickets with his off-spin, Jadeja is a gun fielder from any position of the ground and has turned some games on their heals with his superlative fielding. Jadeja once again produced a glimpse of his brilliant fielding in the 2nd ODI being played at the Eden Park in Auckland.
After Kiwis got off to a solid start they lost their way in the middle with a couple of quick wickets which included two needless run-outs.One of run-outs happened when Ross Taylor and Jimmy Neesham were batting together. Taylor played a shot straight to Ravindra Jadeja who was fielding at the backward point region. Taylor initially hesitated to run the single but on the non strikers Neesham's call he went for the single. Neesham seemed to be comfortable in getting to the crease but Jadeja hurled a rocket like throw with only one stump to aim at and rattled the stumps. The Kiwi allrounder was well short of the ground.
Jadeja was once again impressive with the ball with an economical 35-run spell of his 10 overs, picking up the wicket of Kiwi skipper Tom Latham trapping him leg before wickets. What a throw by #Ravindra #Jadeja to dismiss #Neesham 3(5) to take their 5th wicket.
