Misbah-ul-Haq slams 34-ball century in Norway
NEW DELHI: Pakistan chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has recently ruled out any retirement options for national team captain Misbah-ul-Haq and believes the veteran batsman still has a big role to play in Pakistan cricket.
Pakistan under Misbah has shown remarkable resilience. The past six years have not only seen Misbah unite the team but also keep it scandal-free.
In an unusual feat, the 42-year old, who is also the Pakistan’s most successful Test captain, on Saturday, scored a century off just 34 balls in a match in Oslo, Norway while playing against former teammates.
Taking part in a charity game, Misbah launched 12 sixes and 4 fours on the way to a 34-ball hundred in an exhibition match.
Asif’s side featured the likes of Abdul Razzaq and Mohammad Yousuf, but they could not stop Misbah rampant Misbah. Watch the video:In a charity match today, Misbah-ul-Haq scored a brilliant century off just 34 balls in Oslo, Norway. pic.twitter.com/pIEtNfhBq2
