Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are set to host Lucknow Super Giants at the Eden Gardens tonight, all eyes will be on Rishabh Pant, who is on the verge of a major IPL milestone.

In today's fixture, LSG skipper Rishabh Pant has a golden chance to join an elite list of wicketkeepers in IPL history. Pant is just one dismissal away from completing 100 dismissals as a wicketkeeper in the league. So far, he has taken 76 catches and made 23 stumpings in 115 matches — a total of 99 dismissals.

Once he gets one more dismissal, Pant will become only the fourth wicketkeeper in IPL history to achieve this feat.

The esteemed list is currently topped by MS Dhoni with 194 dismissals (150 catches and 44 stumpings), followed by Dinesh Karthik with 174 dismissals (137 catches and 37 stumpings). Wriddhiman Saha is third on the list with 115 dismissals (89 catches and 26 stumpings).

LSG bought Rishabh Pant for a whopping ₹27 crore in the IPL 2025 Player Auction, thereby, making him the most expensive player in the history of the league.

However, his price tage and his performances reflect complete contrast this season, as the Indian wicket-keeper has registered the scores of 0, 15, 2, 2 in his four innings so far.

The T20 World Cup winner has been slandered on social media for his recent antics, but can turn the heads around with a clinical performance against KKR.
