PBKS Vs MI: Shreyas Iyer leads his side to only their second-ever IPL Final. Read below for match report and details.

PBKS Vs MI: Punjab Kings storm to their first IPL Final in 11 years, thanks to an unbeaten 87 from Shreyas Iyer, as the popular franchise cricket league of India will have a new winner this time around.
For over 18 seasons, neither Punjab Kings nor Royal Challengers Bengaluru have managed to win an IPL title, but after a gruesome period of 73 matches, the summit clash will be taken place between the two on Tuesday, June 3, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Shreyas lyer, the Punjab Kings Captain, was awarded the Player of the Match, as the right-handed batter inspired his side to a 5-wicket win, and with that, they have now become the first franchise in the history of the competition to successfully chase down the total of 200+ against Mumbai Indians.
With the result, Mumbai Indians continue their trend of failing to qualify for the Final of IPL whilst finishing 3rd or 4th in the poinst table.
Here's What Shreyas Iyer Said After The Match
"I don't know, to be honest. I love such big occasions. I always say to myself and my colleagues that the bigger the occasion, the calmer you are and the better the results. I was focusing on my breathing rather than sweating out there in the middle."
"As I mentioned, all players need to be assertive and show their intent. Their intents were stupendous. The more time I spend on the middle, the better my vision is. One match can't define us. I don't ask much from them. Even though they haven't got that much experience, they have that fearless nature in them."
"To be honest, I wasn't thinking or expecting where I would go in the auction. I always wanted to go into a good environment. I personally think that the job is only half done."
"(After the match-winning innings what happened in the dressing room?) Yeah, I was locked in. Thank you so much!"
