IPL 2025 Points Table: Punjab Kings (PBKS) registered their third win of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season as they defeated five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 18 runs in the 22nd match of the league on April 8 (Tuesday). Ruturaj Gaikwad-led CSK suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in five matches and currently sit among the bottom two on the IPL 2025 points table.

Earlier in the day, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) took on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in a high-scoring afternoon clash at Eden Gardens. LSG edged past KKR by four runs while defending a massive total of 238. With this win, LSG moved above KKR to claim the fourth spot on the points table. Delhi Capitals, with three wins in three matches, remain the only unbeaten side and continue to lead the standings.
