A furious KKR captain Nitish Rana was spotted having an argument with the umpires after fielding restrictions were imposed on his team.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Nitish Rana lashed out at on-field umpires and was involved in a heated argument with them during Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match at Chepauk. The incident took place ahead of 20th over of Chennai Super Kings' innings, who opted to bat first after winning the toss. Vaibhav Arora was asked to bowl the 20th over against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batters Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja. However, as per the new rules, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were asked to have not more than four fielders outside the circle instead of five as a punishment for their slow over rate.
