Notably, this might not be Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) final appearance at Chepauk in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Despite a 6-wicket loss to Kolkata Knight Riders in their latest fixture, the four-time IPL winners are still very much in contention for IPL 2023 Playoffs, two of which -- IPL 2023 Qualifier 1 and IPL 2023 Eliminator -- will be played at the venue. If Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fail to make it to the Playoffs, CSK vs KKR match on May 14 could end up being MS Dhoni's final match at Chepauk.
