In an exclusive interview with ANI, Gill, who is now being hailed as 'prince', successor of batting legend Virat Kohli, opened up on his comparisons with Virat and Sachin Tendulkar, ahead of Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings IPL 2023 Final.

Shubman exclusively told ANI that he appreciates the feelings of people but does not see it that way.

"See it's great when people see it but I don't really see that way because the On generation that all of these people Sachin sir, Virat bhai and Rohit Sharma have inspired is beyond. Had we not won the 1983 World Cup, had there not been a Sachin Tendulkar.....had we not won the 2011 world cup would I be as much inspired, maybe or maybe not. So, these kinds of legacies, things kind of things are immortal. you can't really define their legacies," Gill told ANI.

IPL 2023 winner Shubman Gill is key for Gujarat Titans in their IPL 2023 Final fixture against CSK tonight. So far in IPL 2023, Gill has scored 851 runs, laced up with three tons and four half-centuries, in 16 IPL innings with an average of 60 and a strike rate of 156.
