With the help of these two batters, Mumbai won the match by eight wickets.

After Mumbai Indians’ win, Royal Challengers Bangalore had to face the defending champions Gujarat Titans in order to find a spot in the IPL playoffs. In reply, Gujarat Titans chased down the total with Shubman Gill collecting 104* runs off 52 deliveries and helped hi steam win by six wickets.  After this game, RCB got out of the race and Mumbai Indians sealed a spot in the playoffs. “Cameron Green & Shubman Gill batted well for @mipaltan. Amazing innings by Virat Kohli too to score back-to-back 100s.. They all had their methods & were in the class of their own. So happy to see MI in the playoffs. Go Mumbai,” Sachin tweeted.

In the playoffs stage, Gujarat Titans will be locking horns against Chennai Super Kings in Qualifiers 1, and Mumbai Indians will be facing  Lucknow Super Kings in the Eliminator of the IPL 2023.
