Delhi Capitals (DC) IPL 2024 Trading Window Retained, Released, Full Squad, Remaining Purse: Delhi Capitals are gearing up for another shot at securing their first Indian Premier League (IPL) title in the upcoming season. Rishabh Pant is poised for a long-awaited comeback to cricket following a serious car accident that kept him out of action. All ten teams had submitted their lists of released and retained players by the November 26 deadline ahead of the Indian Premier League auction scheduled for December 19 in Dubai.

DC have made some releases, including Rilee Rossouw, Chetan Sakariya, Rovman Powell, Manish Pandey, Phil Salt, Mustafizur Rahman, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Ripal Patel, Sarfaraz Khan, Aman Khan, and Priyam Garg. With a purse of 4.45 crores, the franchise aims to build a robust squad in the upcoming IPL 2024 Auction, seeking improvement after their ninth-place finish despite possessing a strong lineup.

The dynamic Mumbai batsman, Prithvi Shaw, currently recuperating from a knee injury sustained during his stint with Northamptonshire in County cricket, has been retained by his IPL team, the Delhi Capitals. Speculation had surfaced regarding Shaw's release, but he's been retained for IPL-2024 by the Delhi Capitals. He's undergoing recovery at the National Cricket Academy and is expected to be fit for the Ranji Trophy. Shaw has been associated with the Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevils) since they acquired him in the 2018 IPL auction for Rs 1.2 crores.

The team boasts prominent players like David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Anrich Nortje, and a pool of promising Indian talent including Kuldeep Yadav, Prithvi Shaw, and Lalit Yadav among others.
