With the win, DC have now completed a hat-trick of wins in this tournament, and are on top of the table with 6 points.

Speaking during the post-match presentation ceremony, DC skipper Axar Patel hailed 'team effort' in his side's impressive start, as they now remain the only unbeaten team in IPL 2025.

"(On hat-trick of wins) Thank you, I didn't think it would be this easy but everyone is contributing and three in three sounds really good. When we talk in the team meeting, we mention that your individual performances doesn't matter if your team is not winning," said Axar Patel.

"You can see that the batters have a high strike-rate, bowlers are looking to get wickets. That's the plan and it has worked so far. No, I was saving myself. My finger is a bit injured, I was thinking to bowl but then I thought it is a long tournament so I should save myself," said the Delhi Capitals Captain.

"When you win, you have to make sure you focus on the flaws. In every game, we are dropping a couple of chances. I don't think as a captain, I have seen a perfect game. IPL is a long tournament and at any stage, the momentum can shift," he added.

Here's What CSK Skipper Said After Defeat To DC

Ruturaj Gaikwad (Chennai Super Kings Captain):

"Well not today, since the last three games, things are not going our way. We are trying hard and trying to improve but things not going our way. I think powerplay is a major concern for us in the batting department as well as in the bowling department. I think we are giving 15-20 more runs or losing more wickets in the powerplay."

"I think we are slightly overconcerned and over-tentative on whoever is bowling or batting in the powerplay. We are losing one more wicket in the powerplay. We still have to be positive while batting in the powerplay. Even in the field, we are on the backfoot and not being on the toes. Everyone needs to come together and find a solution. Every time we get on the field, whether we are bowling or batting, we have to be positive."

"Since the powerplay, we were playing the catch-up game. The plan was to take it as deep as possible. But DC bowled really well and used the conditions well and we couldn't get the momentum. Even when Shivam was batting, we were trying to get the momentum but we couldn't get it."
