CSK bowlers failed to keep the DC batters in check, as the visitors scored at regular intervals depsite of fall of wickets, and in the end, concluded their innings at 183/6. KL Rahul top-scored for the side with a crucial 77 off 51 balls.

In reply, CSK batters were nothing short of disappointment, as the top-order once again failed to fire when needed the most. No batter from the home side managed to influence the result, as a sluggish 65-run knock from Vijay Shankar was nothingshort of a consolation innings.
