IPL 2021: Ziva Dhoni Spotted Praying During CSK vs DC Match, Pic Goes Viral

MS Dhoni's daughter Ziva's innocence was caught on camera when she closed her eyes with head bowed, folded hands to pray for her father's victory.

New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings locked horns with Delhi Capitals on Monday, October 4 in IPL 2021's 50th match. DC vs CSK match turned out to be a nail-biting thriller as Delhi Capitals won by three wickets with just two balls to spare. 

CSK lost but skipper MS Dhoni's daughter Ziva's innocence was caught on camera when she closed her eyes with head bowed, folded hands to pray for her father's victory. The pictures of Ziva's heart-warming act immediately went viral on social media.

Talking about the match, CSK had set a target of 137 runs for Delhi Capitals to win. Delhi Capitals lost six wickets for 109 runs in 17 overs and needed 28 runs from the last three overs.

Just when it seemed CSK would win the match, Dwayne Bravo gave away 12 runs in his over and the game straightaway turned in Delhi Capitals' favor. Shimron Hetmyer's catch was dropped by Krishnappa Gautam off Bravo's delivery in his over and later Chennai paid the price for it.

Ziva and Suresh Raina's daughter Gracia get to spend a lot of time together during the IPL. Both had also reached together to watch this match. Raina was however benched for CSK vs DC match and veteran Robin Uthappa replaced him in the playing XI. Batting first, Chennai Super Kings scored 136/5 in their allotted 20 overs, in reply, Delhi Capitals won the match by scoring 139/7 in 19.4 overs.
